Maintenance Technician - Level 1

Hours: M-F 7am - 4pm Location: 2350 Marketplace Drive, Rochester

This is a mobile technician role and the candidate will be provided a van. Candidate will be servicing eight different locations in around Buffalo - 15 mile radius Sites are located in healthcare facilities

Team Overview: Mostly independent Resource's typical working day: Service scheduled worksites for PM's - General maintenance - Check doors - Basic carpentry Plan out work order tickets Expense reports Safety Trainings Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license

Must Have Skills: General maintenance skills Drywall Painting/patching Basic plumbing Basic electrical

Nice to have skills: Advanced plumbing skills Healthcare maintenance experience CMMS experience

Soft Skills: Good customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Years of Experience: 1-2 years Education h.s. diploma or GED Software skills: Basic computer skills

Interview Process: 2 rounds, virtual interview (Teams)

About the Role: As a Mobile Technician, you will perform repairs and tend to several buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and ground requests. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do:

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
• Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
• Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
